Hourly: $21.00 - $23.00 depending on experience

Position requirements include cutting printed graphics using a variety of wall cutters, saws, and Exacto blades, as well as applying the product to substrates. Will also work in the field performing installations to vehicles, building interiors and exteriors using a ladder or mechanical lift system. Ability to use a variety of tools to assemble, erect and hang items, both inside and out is required. Must be comfortable on a ladder and working with heights. Moving, lifting and building for a wide variety of sign installations is required.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, with problem-solving skills who pays very close attention to accuracy and detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepares substrates for application, which may include cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, and maintaining the substrates for vinyl application
Follows a layout to place computer-generated vinyl or full color graphic images on a pre-determined substrate or medium
Weeds excess vinyl from computer cut images
Performs finishing operations such as laminating, encapsulating, and/or mounting of printed pieces
Performs quality assurance measures pre- and post-production
Performs installations at customer locations or other off-site locations as necessary
Reports inventory levels and stock to be reordered to the center manager/production manager or franchise partner
Helps unload and store raw materials and cleans and maintains storage areas
Performs routine machine maintenance and minor repairs when necessary
Prioritizes each day to efficiently and cost-effectively schedule the workflow
Maintains work area in a neat and organized manner
Performs other duties as needed, such as answering the phone, helping at the front counter, consulting with customers, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED required
Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers and fractions and converting fractions to decimals and vice versa)
Able to work well under pressure to output high volume, high quality work
Able to stand for long periods of time
Must have the flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back forth hand motions to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrate
Able to lift 50 or more pounds
Able to use light power equipment
Must be physically able to perform sign installations, which includes lifting, climbing, and working at heights greater than 10 feet
