Production Specialist

The Production Specialist fills a dual role. Combined responsibilities include manufacturing and installing various types of signs including vinyl banners/decals, wood and aluminum site signs, vehicle lettering, window graphics and more!

 

You’ll be working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You’ll be responsible for all aspects of the physical construction and assembling of signs from computer cut vinyl and wide format full color printouts. Sign assembly includes preparing substrates and applying vinyl or other media, mounting and/or laminating prints and operating and setting up the laminator for over-laminating, encapsulation, or mounting of digital imaged products. Proofreading signs and conducting quality assurance to ensure the accuracy of signs is also a responsibility.
 
 Installation will require getting the finished sign or graphic in place so everyone can see it - in the ground, on a wall, on a vehicle or hanging from a ceiling. You’ll use a variety of tools to assemble, erect and hang items, both inside and out.

When you work at an independently owned and operated FASTSIGNS location, you are working for a local business, typically with Monday through Friday business hours. Are you ready to bring your mechanical and construction skills on board and join an established brand?

 Qualifications/Requirements:

Must have a valid CA Driver's license.

Sign industry or construction experience is a plus but not required.

Experience with light power tools is also desired.

1. Ability to sit/stand for long periods.

2. Ability to view a computer screen for long periods.

3. Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high quality work.

4. Ability to lift 50 or more pounds.

5. Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back and forth hand motion to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrate.
