Job Summary
As a Sign Fabricator, you will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and finishing of a wide variety of signs. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various materials and tools to produce high-quality signage that meets customer specifications.

Pay range $18.00 - $22.00/hour based on experience

Essential Functions

Metal fabrication of aluminum.
Set up and operate fabricating and metal forming machines.
Perform quality, accurate, and timely work with minimal oversight after the training period.
Weld aluminum structures, ensuring the integrity and appearance of the finished product.
Read and interpret blueprints thoroughly.
Operate and use hand tools and power tools to secure parts in place.
Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy before delivery.
Lift, carry, and move materials as needed.
Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
Maintain the organization and cleanliness of your shop area.
Collaborate with design and installation teams to ensure project feasibility and completion.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Sign Fabricator or similar role in the signage or related industry.
Knowledge of welding aluminum and experience operating fabrication equipment.
Proficiency with hand tools and machinery, such as saws, drills, and welding equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work orders.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Effective communication skills and a positive attitude.
Ability to read and speak English.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in fabrication and welding certification preferred.
Knowledge of safety guidelines and procedures.
Others as deemed required by the company to ensure safety in your role.

Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to lift 75 or more pounds.
Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work.
Ability to use light power equipment.
Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts and part containers.

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
