- Pay range $18.00 - $22.00/hour based on experience
Essential Functions
- Metal fabrication of aluminum.
- Set up and operate fabricating and metal forming machines.
- Perform quality, accurate, and timely work with minimal oversight after the training period.
- Weld aluminum structures, ensuring the integrity and appearance of the finished product.
- Read and interpret blueprints thoroughly.
- Operate and use hand tools and power tools to secure parts in place.
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy before delivery.
- Lift, carry, and move materials as needed.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of your shop area.
- Collaborate with design and installation teams to ensure project feasibility and completion.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Sign Fabricator or similar role in the signage or related industry.
- Knowledge of welding aluminum and experience operating fabrication equipment.
- Proficiency with hand tools and machinery, such as saws, drills, and welding equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work orders.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to read and speak English.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in fabrication and welding certification preferred.
- Knowledge of safety guidelines and procedures.
- Others as deemed required by the company to ensure safety in your role.
Typical Physical Demands
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift 75 or more pounds.
- Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work.
- Ability to use light power equipment.
- Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts and part containers.
Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
