Graphic Designer/Production Artist & Installer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Graphic Designer/Production Specialist to join our dynamic and creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing artwork, providing exceptional attention to detail, and display the ability to work in production as well as installation. Your primary focus will be on print production, artwork design, and maintaining a positive company image while out on installs. Key Responsibilities:

Create visually compelling and brand-consistent sign designs using software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and OnyxRip.
Collaborate with customers and team members to interpret project needs, provide creative input, and ensure design accuracy.
Prepare files for wide-format printing, vinyl cutting, routing, and other production methods.
Operate and maintain production equipment including large format printers, plotters, and cutters.
Ensure all designs are print-ready with correct dimensions, resolution, and color profiles.
Handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
Perform quality control checks on proofs and final products before installation or delivery.
Assist with sign installations and finishing processes (e.g., mounting, trimming, laminating).
Maintain organized digital file systems and production logs for efficiency and traceability..

Skills

Ability to operate wide-format printers, laminators, and vinyl plotters
Preparing graphics for output (paneling, nesting, weeding vinyl)
Ability to cut down various substrates (foam board, acrylic, aluminum, etc.)
Knowledge of materials like vinyl types, banner media, and various substrates
On-site installation of signs, vehicle wraps, decals, window graphics, dimensional letters, etc.
Use of hand and power tools safely
Ladder and lift use (may require certification, which we can provide)
Understanding of surfaces (glass, drywall, vehicles) and proper prep techniques
Reading and following install instructions
Attention to detail
Time management and ability to meet tight deadlines
Strong communication skills (with team & clients)
Problem-solving on installs or production snags
Valid driver’s license (for installation roles)
Comfortable with physical labor (lifting, standing, etc.)
Ability to work independently or with a team

Compensation: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
