About the Role
Join a fast-paced team in a key cross-functional role that works across multiple departments, supporting accounting, sales, office operations, and project coordination. You’ll own key AP/AR and reconciliation functions while providing proactive support that keeps projects and office operations moving forward. Success requires accuracy, organization, urgency, resourcefulness, and strong follow-through.
The Ideal Candidate
- Accounting Experience: 1–3 years of bookkeeping, accounting clerk, AP/AR, or similar experience.
- Detail Oriented: Strong attention to detail and comfortable working with financial transactions, reconciliations, invoices, and documentation.
- Organizer & Problem Solver: Takes ownership, anticipates next steps, solves problems, and drives work through completion with urgency, accuracy, and minimal supervision.
- QuickBooks Online experience required. Comfortable learning and working across multiple systems; Dext, CRM/POS, or similar business software experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounting & Reconciliation: Manage daily reconciliation, QuickBooks transaction entry, check deposits, AMEX/Dext reconciliation, vendor invoice entry, PO verification, AP check-run preparation, customer billing, payment application, and AR follow-up.
- Vendor & Compliance Management: Set up and maintain vendors/subcontractors across systems and manage W-9s, COIs, subcontractor agreements, credentialing, and vendor compliance platforms.
- Senior Sales Support: Provide proactive administrative and project support to senior sales professionals, including estimates/proposals, proof revisions, vendor procurement, permits, freight/shipping, site surveys, installations, and project logistics.
- General Administration: Support daily office operations, including phones, walk-in customers, mail, supplies, grocery orders, and company events.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Starting (based on relevant experience, with a structured performance and pay review at 90 days, plus ongoing room for performance-based raises).
- Sick/Personal Leave: 3 paid sick or personal days per year (eligible after 90 days of employment).
- Paid Holidays: New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
- Paid Vacation: Vacation time is accrued systematically based on hours worked. Employees become eligible to use up to 1 week (40 hours) of earned vacation after six months of consecutive employment, and up to 2 weeks (80 hours) after two years of employment.
- Retirement: Eligible to participate in our 401(k) plan after 12 months of consecutive employment.
- Medical Benefits: Comprehensive health coverage options available for the employee & family. Farrz Inc pays 50% of the employee premium and no match of premium for spouse or children.

Insurance: Company-paid Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability (up to 13 weeks) provided for all full-time employees at no charge to the employee.
Compensation: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
